FRIDAY FABULOSITY:
Gothla US kicks off on Friday, March 5th - with FOUR amazing workshops and the return of MOTIF! We kick things off first at 9am-10:30am with Lacey's "Tribal for Tribal Fusion Dancers" - really putting the TRIBAL in Tribal Fusion! Then from 11-1pm, Mortifera brings us the secrets to their amazing make-up with "Liner, Lipstick and Lashes...Oh My!". From 1:45pm-3:45pm "Journey to the Underworld" with Gothic Bellydance pioneer Tempest, and challenge your perceptions of yourself and why you dance. Then we amp it up with the high-energy ladies of Shakra, "Exploring the Anatomy of Power" from 4-6pm. Then after a dinner break, come back to experience MOTIF with the luscious Lee Ali, from 7:30-10:30pm - that's right, you loved it last year so much, you asked us to make it longer, and your wish is granted - but be sure to get your tickets ASAP, because we sold out last year well in advance, and even though we have a bigger room, we expect to do it again this year! FESTIVAL SCHEDULE UP!
The festival performance schedule for Saturday and Sunday is now UP! Due to our extended schedule, we have room for a few more performances on both Saturday and Sunday, so if you haven't sent in your application yet, visit the page and get it in to Asharah right away, cause those spots are going fast - and you don't want to miss this opportunity to share your dance at the largest Gothic Bellydance event in this hemisphere!
